The responsibility for the work of Karl König obliges to make available not only his biography, his work and the
original documents, for research and study, but to present his many essential and varied Impulses and bring
them into discussion, to show that they are just as valid today as they were then.

Karl König showed directions and ways towards the renewal of medicine, educational theory, curative education, psychology, inspired from anthroposophical life and research. This applies as well for many areas of practical life
such as agriculture, food and crafts,

           -  for the individual person's path of development and for social life based on moral individualism;
           -  for a new understanding of the human being, the history of mankind and of religious life;
           -  for an in depth experience of music, literature, painting, architecture and eurythmy;
           -  for a practical and contemporary understanding of Rudolf Steiner's anthroposophy.

To this purpose we intend to bring the fruits of Karl König's work and striving newly into the public eye. The work
he began needs to be made more available for practical fields of life. Therefore we plan exhibitions, publications,
talks, and seminars. Access to the archives is essential. Please feel encouraged to contact us.

Through the latest stages of development of the Karl König Archive it has become very evident that a
seperate Camphill Archive needs to evolve, where the more recent history of the Camphill Movement -
particularly since Karl König's death - can be collated and documented. Besides this there are many of
König's early pupils and co-founders of Camphill who have created interesting and valuable material
in the way of literature, art and scientific research. These contents need now to find a home
somewhere so that they can be assessed for continuing work and study purposes. Also many
publications have come about within and about Camphill. How should this be tackled? This question is
at the moment subject to scrutiny.
